No. You can play alone and appear in a competition's general standings. A clan adds rivalry between friends and jokers, but it is not required.

No. One grid per round and per competition, evaluated both in the general standings and in all your clans on that competition. Only jokers make the score differ between standings — the general ignores them, clans apply them. And a clan's standings only start on the round that clan came onto the pitch.

Yes, as often as you like, until the deadline. The deadline is the kick-off of the round's first match: after that, everything is locked.

You score 0 for that round, and you do not take the coefficient — it only applies to participants. So you lose nothing but the chance to score.

Because the matchday coefficient is subtracted from your score. If you score less than the participants' average — the competition's average overall, your clan's average inside a clan — the result goes below zero. That is intended: it keeps the gaps tight and rewards the matchdays where you do better than the others.

Because picking one takes no risk. Points come from the odds: the more likely a win, the less it pays. The two teams in a match always add up to 10 points.

It depends on the clan: its admins decide whether it accepts late arrivals. If so, your score only counts from the round you joined.

Not before the deadline. Once the round is closed, your clan's grids become visible — that is what makes the post-mortems interesting.

From the match's win, draw and loss odds. The draw share is split between both teams, the total is scaled to 10, then rounded to a whole number. The calculation is identical whether the odds come from an automatic source or a manual entry.
